COM 2480 Online Journalism - An introduction to the rapidly growing field of online journalism. A hands-on course that utilizes standard journalism techniques for research and storytelling, adapting these for the web while also considering legal and ethical aspects of the profession. Storytelling for the web, online news, web layout and other techniques of the online journalist will be covered.

Dr. Tom Kenny is an Assistant Professor and Chair in the Communications Department. He teaches courses in media studies and production. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Studies from Long Island University.
Victoria is a Speech Language Pathology and Audiology major at Molloy University entering her senior year. She plans on continuing her education at Molloy in the coming years to receive a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. Victoria has a passion for working with children of all ages.
Kaitlin is a communications major with a minor in marketing at Molloy University and is entering her senior year. She is excited to graduate in the spring of 2024 and hopefully get a job in publishing or marketing.
Sabrina, majoring in Speech Language Pathology, is now entering her Sophomore year at Molloy University. She has always had a passion for giving back and helping other's. And hopes that one day she will be working at Cohen Children's Hospital to spend her career working with children. When not in the classroom, Sabrina spends her time at Molloy on the Dance Team

Dimitra Angelopoulos is a Speech Language Pathology major at Molloy University expected to graduate spring of 2024. Dimitra is passionate about helping others and hopes to work with people of all ages. In her free time she enjoys to read and spend time with her friends and family.
Kelly Bergersen is an Interdisciplinary Studies Major. She has recently graduated from Molloy University and is excited to expand her horizons. In the Fall of 2023, she will attend LIU Post University where she will earn her MA in Speech-Language Pathology.
Sam Abraham just graduated from the Hagan School of Nursing and plans to pursue a career in the ICU. He is passionate about helping people in the health care field. Sam loves playing basketball in his free time. He is also interested in writing accurate and reliable information in an effort to combat misinformation.

Kayla Rojas just graduated Molloy University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She hopes to get a job in helping troubled adolescents in group housing or juvenile detention centers. Kayla feels most impassioned when writing and advocating for basic human rights.

Olivia is a transfer student who has been at Molloy University for a full year now. Olivia is a nursing major who loves to learn and try new things. In her free time she works, goes on runs, and spends time with her friends and family. - Update
Nadia is a nursing major at Molloy University and is set to graduate in December 2024. She hopes to move to the city where she can work and earn her masters to become a Nurse Practitioner or a CRNA, and is especially interested in working with children and in women's health. She hopes to publish stories that raise awareness about the challenges within hospitals and foster public understanding of healthcare procedures and policies.
Madeline Kraemer is an intern at the Molloy University Career Center. Madeline is also working part-time as a freelance copywriter with the goal of changing to full time once she graduates with a BS in New Media. - Update
Yeiri Flores recently graduated from Molloy University with a bachelor's in Speech Language Pathology, as well as a bachelor's in Spanish Language and Literature. In the Fall of 2023, she will be attending Molloy University where she will complete her masters. Yeiri hopes to help individuals of all ages and make a positive impact.

Diana Ciminera is a Molloy College employee pursuing her Bachelor's in Communications. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2023. Diana is married and has two daughters who also graduated from Molloy. - UPDATE
Brian is a 5-year student at Molloy in the education program. He is going for a dual degree in English and Special education. Brian will be starting his student teaching in the fall. Brian is a huge Yankees fan and loves to travel. - Update
Jeanine is an English major at Molloy College. She is entering her senior year, and is about to graduate with a degree in English on a Writing Track. She plans on coming back in the fall of 2023 to get her masters in Childhood Special Education. Jeanine is kind hearted, and can't wait to be certified in teaching little minds. - Update
Rachel is a communications major and a full time nanny of two little lovies. Through this class I am curious about spreading the word about individuals with special needs. This course may be quick but I am excited to see what it entails!
