COM 2480 Online Journalism - An introduction to the rapidly growing field of online journalism. A hands-on course that utilizes standard journalism techniques for research and storytelling, adapting these for the web while also considering legal and ethical aspects of the profession. Storytelling for the web, online news, web layout and other techniques of the online journalist will be covered.

Dr. Tom Kenny is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Communications Department. He teaches courses in media studies and production. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Studies from Long Island University.
Alani Banks is an administrative Assistant in the Office of International Education at Molloy University. She works on study abroad programming. She is pursuing interdisciplinary studies with concentrations in psychology and American studies and has a strong interest in international service work, and global education.
Taylor Wolfe is an English major at Molloy University who serves as the Vice President of Student Government and a Student Affairs intern with the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA). When she’s not in the office, you can usually find her outside playing volleyball.
Vincent Morena is a business management major at Molloy University. He works as a bookkeeper at Uncle Giuseppe's. Vincent has a passion for sports and country music.

Ryan DeLeva is an artist and musician from Long Island with a bachelors in fine arts from Molloy University. His art has a heavy focus on human nature and the downfalls that come along with such a loaded topic.
Dani Espinal is an English Major at Molloy University with the goal of working in the publishing industry. When she finds time between work and school, Dani is can be found reading fiction or listening to wide variety of music genres.
Jake Guercia is a Business Marketing Major and Finance Economics Minor. I have been making music and DJ'ing for 12 years now and have a burning passion to be creative. I would like to write about music, entertainment and psychology.
Kayla Manzzo is an Interdisciplinary Studies major at Molloy University with a concentration in Biology and Psychology. She is passionate about healthcare and learning more about human behavior and science. Outside of academics, she enjoys listening to music and working out.
